A new edition of the "official" U.S. Code (U.S.C.) is published every 6 years.  Between editions, the U.S.C. is updated by bound supplements.

A current official edition of the U.S.C. is available through the U.S. government site GovInfo.  A number of subscription databases also provide access to both the official and unofficial versions of the current edition.
