A number of the library's databases provide access to compiled federal legislative histories including ProQuest Legislative Insight, HeinOnline, LexisNexis (Legal > Legislation & Politics – U.S. & U.K. > U.S. Congress > Legislative Histories), and Westlaw (Directory > U.S. Federal Materials > Legislative History > Legislative Histories).

Two books in the library's collection that list federal legislative histories are Sources of Compiled Legislative Histories (print or HeinOnline) and the Union List of Legislative Histories

Additional federal legislative histories may be located by consulting LLSDC's Legislative Source Book as well as searching JACOB, the library's catalog, and the web.  When searching JACOB, try a keyword search using the <name of the legislation> and "legislative history."

For additional information on locating federal legislative histories, see the Burns Law Library's Federal Legislative History Research Guide.
