Who's Who in American Law, Martindale-Hubbel Legal Directory (LexisNexis), and Profiler - Profiles of Attorney & Judges (Westlaw) all contain biographical information for both judges and attorneys.  A free version of the Martindale-Hubbel Legal Directory is also available online.

In addition, there are a number of publications that focus solely on biographical information for judges.  These include the Almanac of the Federal Judiciary, Judges of the United States, and The American Bench: Judges of the Nation.  The Federal Judicial Center website also includes many biographies.

Additional information may also be located by using the databases American National Biography Online, Biography and Genealogy Master Index, or Gale Biography in Context, which are all available through GW's Gelman Library.
