There are a number of publications that assist in deciphering legal citations which arrange publications alphabetically by abbreviation:

    1. The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed.)
See tables T1 - T13 for abbreviations to commonly cited legal publications.

    2. Prince's Bieber Dictionary of Legal Abbreviations (6th ed.)

    3. Noble's Revised International Guide to the Law Reports (2002 ed.)
Covers U.S., U.K., and international reporters.

    4. World Dictionary of Legal Abbreviations

Also see the website Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations. This site covers over 295 jurisdictions.
