The GW Law Library proxy server authenticates users based on their GW Law School username (e.g. xx@law.gwu.edu) and password. (Note: A few databases are not available to off-campus users.)

While most of the links in the Library's guides and catalog records connect to databases that the Library subscribes to directly, some of them lead to databases to which the GWU Libraries subscribe.  Examples of this include JSTOR, Project Muse, EconLit, and the Oxford English Dictionary.  If you click on a GWU Libraries link while off-campus, you will connect to the GWU Libraries proxy server.

See the Library's off-campus access page for more information.
