United Nations (UN) documents can be found in several places:
UN ODS provides UN documents for the period 1993 to the present in PDF. Resolutions of the General Assembly, the Security Council, and the Economic and Social Council go back to 1946.
The websites of each of the main bodies of the UN also generally have a "documents" section that provides access to current materials. For example, see the UN General Assembly's site or the Security Council's site.
Some UN documents, primarily yearbooks and documents of the International Court of Justice are also available in Hein Online's United Nations Law Collection.
We also maintain a fiche collection of UN official records from 1946 to the present on Lower Level 1 (LL1) (Blue cabinets at the back of the microform room on LL1).
For documents for other bodies of the UN, see the Official Web Site Locator for the United Nations System of Organizations to identify the website of the body you are looking for, or check JACOB our online catalog for availability in our collection.
For more information about locating United Nations documents see our research guide A Guide to United Nations Research which can be found here.
