The Congressional Research Service (CRS) provides policy and legal analysis to the U.S. Congress.  CRS reports  provide concise, authoritative, objective and nonpartisan discussion of legislative issues. Periodically, the reports are updated and it is important to locate the most recent version of a CRS report.

Selected CRS reports can be found on the web.

To retrieve the most recent version of a CRS report, search the Burns Law Library's Proquest Congressional database or Bloomberg Law.
